Welcome, horror hounds!  I'm a practicing physician in North Carolina with a deep love of horror fiction. Here you'll find writing that explores the boundaries of my literary interests. Cosmic gods. Existential dread. Nightmare montrosities. And many long dark journeys into the unknown.

My debut horror collection, "The Fever Called Living," will be featured on an upcoming "Horror Joy" podcast this summer. In these chilling tales, a colorful cast of medical providers confront monstrous gods and the madness within their own dark hearts.

You can also explore my blog, "The Dark Atlas," to find essays on a variety of horror topics, as well as my reviews of great horror books.  I've launched a new serial fiction project, "Hallowed Halls: Strange Tales from Hell's Finest Hospital.” Be sure to check it out!
